A woman who accidentally shot her husband Friday in Monaghan Township will not be charged, police said.
The woman was
examining a .22 caliber handgun when it fired, striking her husband in
the side of his chest, police said.
The handgun was one of several firearms that the husband had removed from the couple's attic. The woman did not know the gun was loaded.
